James Hampton

James Hampton provides investment advice and portfolio management services to high-net-worth clients through managing multi-asset portfolios that focus on providing bespoke income solutions.

After time spent as a fund manager in the United Kingdom, James moved to Australia and joined Viridian Financial Group in 2021. Prior to this, he worked as part of the Sales Trading team at Jarden New Zealand, servicing local and international institutional clients. With over ten years of experience in financial markets, he has built up a depth of knowledge and key skillsets that he draws on to assist his clients in navigating the complicated investment universe. James is dedicated to promoting transparency, professionalism and accountability when overseeing clients’ investment assets.

James holds a BCom (Finance and Economics) and a Master of Finance degree from the University of Otago. He is also an Accredited Derivatives advisor and an Authorised Representative of Infinity Capital Solutions. Outside of work, James is an avid traveller and enjoys travelling to remote, unexplored parts of the world.
