James Martin

James began his career as a stockbroker in the late 90s prior to working in London on an equity derivatives desk. Returning to Perth in the early 2000s, he founded a derivatives trading firm which later became the only Western Australian principal trading participant of the ASX. As a Royal Military College – Duntroon graduate, James held multiple leadership positions in the ADF. In the civilian sector, he has been a CEO of a fintech company, a director of an ASX-listed company, a responsible manager of 2 AFSL’s and the President (Mayor) of a local government.

James is a science graduate of the University of Western Australia with a double major in mathematics and physics. He also holds a postgraduate degree in finance.

James enjoys assisting clients in achieving their investment goals by utilising the tools available within the global capital markets.
